As an AEI student, you are part of the larger University of Oregon campus and with your student ID have access to all campus resources. From the newly renovated Recreation Center with climbing wall, to the Museum of Art, there is much to experience and explore. Our campus is host to students from over 100 countries and all walks of Americans. The AEI is able to take full advantage of its surroundings, creating a supportive home base for students.
The American English Institute hosts its own activities throughout each term and a volunteer program that brings students together.
AEI students may live in residence halls, with homestay families, or in private housing throughout the Eugene/Springfield area.
Eugene is a city of active, friendly people, and there is always something new to explore. It features art galleries, world-class sporting events, museums, a strong music scene, as well as shopping malls.
