This course will run weekly discussions centered around content areas, technology and pedagogical topics. We welcome the following expert guest speakers for each of the course content areas: Entrepreneurship, Civic Education and HIV-AIDS.
Randy Swangard

Randy Swangard is the Director of the Lundquist Center of Entrepreneurship at the Lundquist College of Business, University of Oregon. This Center is responsible for all entrepreneurship classes, programs and activities for University of Oregon students. He also teaches undergraduate courses in Entrepreneurship and does private consulting in both private and public companies to assist in business development.

Dr. Carl Bybee is an Associate Professor in the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon. His course specialties are mass media & democracy and the interrelationship between language, politics, and culture. He recently won the School of Journalism special teaching award for innovative teaching.

Annie Dochnahl received her M.S. in Health Education and Exercise Physiology at the University of Oregon in 1991. Since that time, she has worked as a Health Educator at the University of Oregon Health Center where she teaches courses on personal health and coordinates programs in health promotion. HIV education is an important part of the health program for students.
