- Alta Vista General and multi-media searches (images, audio, video).
- CNN Video Vault Contains many short videos and related articles from recent and past news stories.
- Dogpile This is a meta-search engine (it searches other search engines and compiles the results).
- Google.com Has no ads and works very quickly.
- Infoseek General search engine with links to dictionary and thesaurus, as well.
- Lycos MP3 Central Search for MP3 music.
- Mining Co. Web Clipart Good alphabetical list of free clipart. Loads a bit slowly.
- Yahoo Directory-style search engine.
- University of Oregon Web sites for the UO.
- University of Oregon Electronic Phone List For students and faculty at the UO.
- University of Oregon Library Do research online and have results emailed to your gladstone account.
- WWW Virtual Library Good links to subjects for essays and research.
- Yahooligans.com Is useful for finding sites for kids or kid-related resources.
