HEALTH INSURANCE

Health Insurance Requirements

All U.S. universities require students to have health insurance.

HEALTH CARE

UO Student Health Center

If you need medical attention while in Oregon, you can visit either the University's on-campus Student Health Center or the nearby hospital.

The UO Student Health Center is the most convenient and least costly place to receive health care. There are doctors and nurses available to see you.

It is located near the center of campus and is open during regular business hours when school is in session. (It is closed when the University is not in session.)

Sacred Heart Hospital

If you have a medical emergency, or if the Student Health Center says you need help at the hospital, you can go to Sacred Heart Hospital. It is located one block from the University. It is open 24 hours a day, every day, including weekends and holidays.

The AEI office or student adviser can help you if you have questions and need to see a doctor.

IMMUNIZATIONS (VACCINATIONS)

Immunization Requirements

New Federal laws require that all students (American and International) at all universities comply with immunization requirements.

Your admissions packet will contain important UO Health Center forms.

You must complete and submit these forms to the AEI main office before you can attend classes:
