Computer-Enhanced Language Learning Fair

December 3, 1999
12:00-1:00
113 Pacific, YLC Lab

Sponsored by the American English Institute and Yamada Language Center

WHAT IS THE COMPUTER-ENHANCED LANGUAGE LEARNING FAIR?

UO professionals from language-teaching disciplines who have used software, Internet-based resources, web sites, or computer-related activities with students and/or other educators will informally demonstrate their work. These presenters will be stationed at computers around the Yamada Lab, 113 Pacific. They will simultaneously demonstrate their material "poster session-style" at their assigned computers. Visitors to the Fair will walk around and drop in and out of demonstrations, thus precluding highly structured presentations. It's a great opportunity to come and see what your colleagues are doing in their fields! Refreshments served!

WHO ARE THE PRESENTERS AND WHAT ARE THEIR TOPICS?

A list of presenters is now available.

Due to the short amount of time allowed for planning this year's event, the deadline for proposals was November 29, 1999 and acceptances went out November 30, 1999. For more information on this year's or on future events, please contact:
