    Part I:
Fill out the AEI Online Application Form and click on "Submit". If you prefer, you can also print out and send this form to AEI by mail or FAX (see contact information in footer below).

Nonrefundable application fee: You must pay a nonrefundable application fee of $65.00 U.S. You can pay by VISA or Mastercard credit card as part of the Part I online application process. You can also send a check, international money order, or VISA or Mastercard number to the AEI mailing address below. Please do not send cash or traveler's checks.

Part II: After you submit Part I, Part II will appear. Print out Part II, complete it, and send it to AEI by air mail (see mailing address in footer below). You will need to send original or certified copies of the necessary documents. If you prefer, you can also go directly to Part 2 and make your printout.

  2. Most recent diploma or degree: Send AEI an original or certified copy of the most recent degree or diploma you have received (see mailing address in footer below).

  3. Personal or guarantor's bank statement: Send AEI a personal or guarantor's bank statement showing the exact amount available for the period of study, or evidence of a scholarship (see mailing address in footer below). If a sponsor is providing funds, you must include an original, notarized affidavit of support.

  4. Transfer students: If you are transferring from another English language program in the United States, you must send AEI a letter of recommendation from the program director or from your advisor (see mailing address in footer below).

  5. Homestay program: If you are applying for the Homestay program to live with an American family, there is a separate nonrefundable application fee of $150.00 U.S. See Homestay Application for more information. You can pay by VISA or Mastercard credit card as part of the Homestay online application process. You can also send a check, international money order, or VISA or Mastercard number to the AEI mailing address below. Please do not send cash or traveler's checks.
